Over the weekend I went out in search of some new "toys" and picked up a SOG Mini X-Ray Vision. I was already sold on the Arc-Lock on my Pentagon Elite, so I knew that I wouldn't be dissapointed in getting another knife with the same locking mechanism. Needless to say, I fell in love with the Mini X-Ray Vision at first sight. The Vision series has in my opinion, the most atractive looking tanto blade I've seen in a folding knife. The Zytel handle is also very comfortable to hold and the texture on it has the look and feel of G-10. The ATS-34 bead blasted blade comes shaving sharp and the lockup is SOG solid with no play in any direction, and the fact that the handle has steel liners (underneath the Zytel) makes this one tough little folder. I also love the pocket clip which can easily be switched over for left handed carry and offers very descreet pocket carry. There are only 2 things I would have preferred on this folder as a matter of personal taste: a satin finish and a plain edge. Nevertheless, the Mini X-Ray Vision is destined to become my every day carry knife for a long while.
