Hello,
I am new to this forum, and I wanted to say that the mini x-ray vision I have is the best everyday carrying knife that I own. I have had it for about a year now, and it has definitely withstood the test of time and use. As a former Navy mechanic, I understand how important it is to have a blade on me at all times. Carrying this thought with me into the civilian industrial world, it is just as important. This knife was intended as one of my "just in case" items, but it turns out I use it several times a day, and my coworkers do too, because they never have a knife on them. I use it all constantly for such things as cutting off insulation, cutting wires, making marks on piping, cutting rope, cutting gaskets, opening packages, pretty much anything and everything someone in the indutrial field can ask of it, and it has held up. I misplaced it for about 2 weeks and used a much more expensive Dieter Mark II in its place. I thought it hold up, but it hasn't. The blackhawk knife's clip is way too tight for pulling out of the pocket many times a day, opening is more difficult, and it is quickly lost its edge. All from something that is supposed to be "special forces tough" and withstand the harshest conditions, etc. and costs about 3 times as the SOG. So from now on any utility pocket knife I buy will be an SOG and not an overly expensive pretty looking knife. Thanks!
