MiniGrip blade lengths

I have a few minis, and blade length seems to vary. The knives with the thumb stud are all 72 or 73 mm. The one model that I have with the modified sheepsfoot blade is 74 mm. Is this difference typical for these blade styles, or is it just random variation?
I am measuring by using a metric ruler and simply examining the tip to the handle.
 
What I am asking is whether your sheepsfoot blades are longer than the thumb stud models? Anyone have both types of MiniGrip and can answer this?
 
it's 1 millimeter, who cares?

but I imagine that the difference between blade shapes would be normal, and if there is a difference between blade lengths on similar models, it would be due to sharpening, which is done by hand making every blade different.
