Minigrip without clip

This may seem like a strange question, but I’ve never been a pocket clip person. Maybe I’d get used to a clip. I don’t know. Anyway, does anyone carry a Minigrip down in your pocket without a clip with your keys and other pocket stuff? Is it safe? Does the blade come open in your pocket with the Axis lock? I prefer the sheepsfoot blade. Will keys pry open the blade due to blade hole? Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

I carry my mini in my right pocket and keys, cash in my left. Never had a problem just added a lanyard so I know which end I am pulling out.

A lot of times i carry a HK P-30 loose in my front pocket with my keys. It has about the same dimensions as a mini grip & has never given me any problems.

I carry pretty much everything 3" and smaller without a clip...Mini Presidio, HK14210, Mini HK Axis. If I liked and carried a Mini Grip, I'd almost certainly take the clip off. I've never had a problem with keys, but I can see how it might happen. Just be a little mindful if your keys get tangled up. Don't think you'll have a problem.

I always carry my Mini Grip in a pocket without a clip, but I never carry anything else there. Never had any problems with blade retention.
