Beautiful feather-sticks.

Do you carry another knife/axe for jobs like splitting firewood?

Thats a great looking knife.

You can actually just make a wooden wedge to split firewood if you really wanted to go minimal. Ive done that before. Just baton a stick or a rock through a log.

My minimal Bushcraft knives are a Mora # 2/0 (carbon) or a Mora Scout #39 (SS)
They are great

I just got a Blind Horse Frontier Valley (scandi), which is the same size but because of the full tang is a huge amount of knife
This will become a main knife in the field

I love this knife. It contains the key to what speaks to me about puukko....its beautifully simple.

Nice looking knife. My favorite is the Izula 2 which is about the same size.

That's what I do. Works great.

The simplicity and function of that blade is beautiful to behold. It is more than duly honoured by your fine, hand-made sheath. Thank you for sharing. Can you tell a little more about the way you made the sheath?

I love it.
This is my interpretation of the smallest ideal bushcraft, sharp cutter, light and strong enough to its duties ;-)

A set up like this is simple, beautiful, functional. I'd love to own one just like this- especially the sheath!
