I just got my second Talonite knife...The MiniTalon. This is a great little neck knife. Thanks Camillus for making this quality and design available at an affordable price. Even though the knife is small it fits my hand just right and Talonite holds a great edge! Now I am going to have to save for its full sized big brother.

Glad you like the mini Talon! That knife was born from wondering what to do with small pieces of Talonite, as Jim Furgal, CEO of Camillus says, with Talonite there aint no scrap!

This is the best use "scrap" Talonite I have ever seen. I have added a Sebenza type lanyard to the knife and the guys at work with larger hands liked the lanyard. It gave them something to grab with their pinky finger. This is a great blade. Thanks for the background infirmation Rob.

How is the mini Talon being used by its owners? Is it a collector piece or can it be put to work? What is the going price for this model? Who sells them? Thanks.

I got mine from Knifeoutlet.com for $149.95 (plus $5 for UPS shipping). This knife is a user and it is just the right size for light work. Since there is no concern with corrosion this is the ideal knife for use in salt water environments. The grind lines are almost perfect. One thing I am not sure of is the optimum angle for sharpening. I thing that I will ask this in another thread. I highly recommend this blade. One thing that may give you trouble is if you have large hands the handle is small, heck the whole knife is small.
