o.k. guys the stuff has dried. what do i use now? paper? steel wool? its on a piece of snake wood. any suggestions?:)

Yep. Use 0000 steel wool to smooth everything out then take a buffing compound and buff it up with a soft cloth.

I need more information?

but let me take a shot in the dark, it is finish size either installed or ready to be.
step it down to 320, then buff with steel wool, (actualy, sanding is much more effient if done wet. use wet or dry sand paper with the oil to lubricate it use steel wool in the same manor)

size0000 wool and wax will give a satan finish
the soft wheel and buffing compound of a compatable color will give you a high gloss.:D

thanks, first time i used the stuff. ironwood is so oily that i buff with fabulustre and its done. this snakewood mahes ironwood look easy to grind.

wood's funny,

sometimes you can carve it, when it won't grind. sometimes a good set of riflers will work. some times you just have to persevere:rolleyes:

I hope the end result is worth it EE
