Minor Issue With My New Offset, Advice?

I was thrilled as can be when my Offset came in today, but I noticed a minor blemish in the blade after thoroughly inspecting my new favorite knife.

It has a recessed dimple in the blade on the flat ground section before it transitions to the hollow ground section. (molded technically, not ground:D) Its very hard to see with the coating but it can be easily felt with my finger. It is about the width of my pinky fingertip and is only on one side.

So my question is, should I live with it or send it in to Kershaw? I don't think it will compromise any usefulness, but it bugs me. This is the most expensive knife I have ever bought so I kinda want it to be as perfect as it can be. What do you guys think?

Sorry for the large pic but this was the best shot I could get of it. The dimple is just to the left of the transition in this pic.

Send it back if you can live without it for 1-2 weeks. Esp. since it is you first big purchase. You probably won't be happy until it is perfect and Kershaw CS will make it so.

1-2 weeks isn't bad, I thought it would be longer. No doubt Kershaw CS will make me happy, I just have to convince myself to part with it. Thanks a lot.

it could be a bit longer (we are in the holiday season now), but Kershaw CS will get ya taken care of pdq

I have 4 Kershaws, and 3 of them have assymetric grinds. THe grind lines are not the same on both sides. I just live with it, figure no one else will notice. My Random Task is pretty noticable, the hollow is larger on one side than the other.

My black Boa is the same, the hollow is higher on one side than the other.
My black Leek is the same.

My Junk Yard Dog appears to be the first perfect Kershaw I ahve owned. Cannot detect any dis-similarities from either side.
Hopefully the 1725SG2 will be thw same.

as far as I know, no one else have as much problem with kershaw as you do...do you have extra sensitive touch or look at kershaw thru a microscope...i mean seriously...

Not much point in going down this path again, Thomas has already offered to take care of all of his knives. We'll just have to wait and see if he decides/decided to take him up on it.
