I was sitting in my spa last night and watched what I first thought was a slow moving shooting star. It had a long tail on it. From Simi Valley it was to the west and heading southward (or so it appeared). It looked like an industrial skyrocket on steroids. I watched as it engaged a second stage, and vanished. I almost ran to get my camera, but would have missed it if I did.

That was the best launch one I have seen from my front lawn
Usually they go west
This one went south
It had the a really long flame!!!!
I thought it would be louder though......
