Mint SHBM on the exchange

There is a mint SHBM on the exchange. I saw it first. That is my grail knife. I would be all over that if I had the money. This is F-ing killing me.

I have to go cry now.

I am crying on the inside. Manfully, with silent rage (well, not so silent, I am whining about it here). And I think you are allowed to regret missing out on an opportunity like this. I would sell a kidney to have that knife. I'll get one of these someday. But you don't see things like this very often. And that price!!! ..... must.... control..... can't....afford!!!
 
That seems to be a 1-300 and HOGs that buy/sell these have told me that is a fair price range for one. If I didn't have one that one would be SPF and Photos:D.

If there was any possible way I could swing that knife, it would have been SPF to yours truly in a heartbeat. I would pay that price in a second.

Sorry to cause the trauma. It was not easy to do this. If I didn't have a matching one there is no way I'd let it go!

P.S I bugged Jerry enough when I bought these that he may kill me himself!
 
Moon--If that is truly your grail knife, I would consider buying it and then selling whatever it takes so that you can swing it.
Grails are grails. Just trying to add a little bit of painful temptation.;)
 
I had a mint SHBM once.

Then I beat it into submission.

So much better now...

Sheesh, you guys! :D Where's the hate? The vicious, machiavellian ruthlessness of contest? Where are the cat fights? Wait, I think we'll have to leave the cat fights. :foot: Congratulations by the way, to Moonwilson, for getting that yellow card. :p Now, I would really like to have an SHBM one day, but I'm not even seriously thinking about it, because it just ain't gonna happen, and there's too many other knives to take care of first. But I've got to say, whoever of you hogs gets that thing, congrats! :eek:
 
I saw the post shortly after it went up. I actually considered it for a moment too. I think for the time being, I'm gonna keep any single knife purchase under 1k. Not that I'm on a budget or anything - just....restraint!

No regrets (if you don't pull the trigger)!

Elen, you said 'machiavellian'! I didn't know that was on the reading list for this class!! Even though I have read some of the works of Niccolò di Bernardo dei Machiavelli such as The Prince I didn't know it was going to come up in this forum! I guess if we are talking $1500 blades we can use those big '$2' words.

Actually, I saw it first but didn't pull the monetary trigger, even though I sent trade offer.

Tom Krein has it's twin sister right now, getting a satin finish and nice edge put on. Hear that Tom? my blade is worth 1500 so don't loose it:D

Oh and Ban has Guyons SHBM twin sister getting the same treatment.:D
