Miracle blade?

Lately I've been seeing these commercials more and more, and I was wondering what you guys think of this. http://www.miracleblade.com/?src=affiliate&aid=14511&subid=pt I just don't see how these blades will never need sharpened. All blades will need it eventually. I imagine that it has to do with all the blades being serrated. Overall, though, what do you guys think of these knives?

Because people (the amerocan public inparticular) are @#$king stupid and will believe most anything espeacially if they see it on t.v.

also most people are completely knife ignorant. most don't realize that serrated knives of any kind need sharpening or that they can in fact be sharpened. theres a very large portion of people that have never sharpened their kitchen knives even once. if my mother didnt have me around from time to time she never would.

The claim is certainly based on the serrations. They extend the life of the edge somewhat (or seem to) but in the end...:grumpy:

As little as most people use their knives in the kitchen, by the time the knives dull either a) the consumer has forgotten how much better they worked in the first place b) the consumer has gotten bored and replaced his/her knives c) the warranty (assuming there is one) has run out.

That's assuming that these knives actually DO work initially. They very well could be just a cheap pos in the first place. :thumbdn:
