Question is what are the steps to mirror finish the blade on one of the JK knives I have. I have a power grinder that I can put some felt wheels on or whatever?
need details from all the guru's here.
Also, any difference if I also want to polish a 1095 Herter's knife.

3M makes a wheel in different grades that is like a fiber that would be a good starting place, but they are expensive and wear out quickly. Otherwise felt wheels followed up by a cloth floppy wheel with different polishing grits applied. In my opinion not worth the expense. If you have lots of time I would just use different grits of sandpaper and do it by hand.

Polishing wheels are the most dangerous equipment in a knifemaker's shop.

Better off Not doing it. Seriously.
