So tonight I doubled up and did a tutorial video on how to mirror polish a blade. I made one mistake on this blade though, I should have started at a lower grit, something like 320 grit to remove the full flat grind lines. It didnt turn out to bad though. Anyway here is a short video showing it. Sorry I cant figure out how to post just the player and not the URL.

Looks good

I would just like to get an even finish on my tenacious. Mine has high/low spots in the grind from the factory. Anyone know what grit would get me closest to the factory finish?

Factory is a satin finish, so maybe give this a shot? Read about it on another forum. "You can hand sand to 600. Then go to a fine (green) scotch-brite pad. Then scrub with 0000 steel wool. Next hand polish with a good metal polish. I think you will like the results. Always remember to go in the same direction."

Steel - nice job. About how long did it take you?
Thanks man. I would say it took about an hour to do total. I am going to carry the knife for a week as well and let you all know how it holds up. It doesnt scratch very easily really.
