While beating on the LC I hit a rock and it put a nice chip on the edge. It still performed perfect for the rest of my chopping but this knife needs to stay razor sharp at all times.
So off to the Edge Pro (Shapton glass stones) it went.
I'm telling you this 3V takes a crazy sharp edge it's super easy to sharpen. Probably the best edge I put on any knife. Makes my folders look like shit, it's just scary sharp. I think I need a Shiv now. 🍻

Looks good! Anything you have laying around you can take a reflection picture with? Would like to see how it shows.

What angle is it?

a lot of the focus on the Delta 3V heat treatment is rightly on the edge holding, but edge holding is also amazing with Elmax and S35VN. But at low 60's HRC, that shit is a total bitch to sharpen. Delta 3V, on the other hand, is more akin to 1095 when it comes to edge maintenance. Very easy to get a mirror finish on this stuff!

Nice job on this one.

Here is the kinda pic I mean. Just a quick dirty on my EDC S35VN.
