I have a Kershaw JYDII composite blem. I like the knife but can't seem to fix the blade alignment.Adjusting the pivot screw did not help at all.The blade is always rubbing against the non locking liner side. Any ideas would be appreciated..Thnx..Chop:cool:

Someone else here posted about that same problem with their jyd 2 comp blem. You might do a search. I have the same problem with my spec bump blem. As gundude73 pointed out that is the blemish. The blade is warped. Isn't much you can probably do to fix it.

well i have a jyd2 CB blem and it is great, sometimes your lucky sometimes your not.

With it opened, and screws slightly loosened, just a turn is fine, put pressure on the blade flat and push the blade towards the side it is nearly touching. you may have to do this a couple of times. When done retighten the screws starting with the pivot screw first.

If blade is warped then this may not make a difference, but is worth a try.

To get my Endura aligned, I had to play with all the screws, not just the pivot. Perhaps try that.

I had two SG2 Ti JYD IIs come with way off center blades but they still functioned just fine. Hopefully the centering method above will work. If not take the knife apart clean everything up good and switch the washers.

Thanks for the link SPXTrader - a picture speaks a thousand words! :)
