Mismatched dates on Insingo scales

I bought my large plain insingo 21 NIB secondhand a while ago, and have only had it apart a couple of times. I was cleaning some gunk off the stop pin today and noticed that there were two different dates on my scales. My lockeside scale has a B14 code, while my presentation scale has a C14 code. Anybody else have this on their sebenza? (sidenote, my 2012 regular 21 has matching codes, and my other large 21 I haven't checked yet)

Hey pal... This is perfectly normal. A lot of scales have mismatched dates--it's of no concern. Enjoy!

Not uncommon at all. Some even have different years. I have several with mismatched letter stamps.

Yea, as they said, not unusual at all. The date stamp is just when the part was made, the birthday card shows the day your whole knife was assembled.

This morning I read this post. Last night noticed my 25's scales were produced during two consecutive quarters in 2013. Thanks for the timely information...;-)
