Missed the bus TGLB

So....looks like I missed the bus on getting a TGLB, my question is will I't ever be offered from Busse again or will I have to track one down second hand? I have found a couple for sale but they are both coated with pupal/red handles(not my thing colour wise) should I wait and see if it's brought back? What do ya think?
 
I don't think it's likely to be brought back any time soon. They had a relatively long run on the Busse site, which ended recently, and thre was a Battle Grade TG offered as a part of "Operation Two Weeks" a couple months ago.
 
There will probably be several Battle Grade (SR-101, not INFI) TGs available on the exchange shortly, sine those seem to have just started shipping. Also, you might still be able to get one direct from Busse if someone backs out on an order. If you don't need INFI, it would definitely be worth contacting the shop. See here.

A TGLB is a great knife, and if you really want INFI (which I recommend) it's a great knife to go with. While I highly doubt that a new batch will be released by Busse anytime soon, they are a recent enough knife that they show up on the exchange pretty frequently. If you check fairly regularly you will not have to wait long before you find one in a color combo that you like. It's true that it's not as easy as going to the store and picking up a Gerber knife, but it's nowhere nearly as hard as waiting for a brand new unused 2008 comp finish Sarsquatch to show up for sale either.
 
I bet there'll be a few pop up at shows and maybe some variants. Other than that I bet the TGLB is gone for a while.
 
there's always TGLB's around, they're so ubiquitous...I just snagged a comp finish beaut a week or so back...

now getting one for around the price they were available for on the co. website...now that's another HOG story
 
You could also call the shop and see if they have any still laying around. Worth a try.
 
Some great ideas, I have sent the shop an email and hope to hear back with good news, if not I will keep my eyes peeled and hope to find one that suits me.
 
I ordered a bunch for family. Might sell you one for costs if you still interested. They are all BG. SR 101 Been thinking about letting one go. Picked up a user for myself. Going to strip it and polish her all shiny.

Thanks for the offer Ladams but I'm going to hold out and hope some INFI comes my way.
