I already misplaced the durn thing, I'm 99.9% sure it' s either in the laundry or somewhere in my bedroom, I'll find it eventually, it just drives me crazy till I do.

I didn't even get a pic of it. It was my first really nice Barlow, oh well, I still have my 2008 Forum knife, (Northwoods Medium Stockman) to keep me happy till I find it.

Done rantin':grumpy:

I know where it is:rolleyes:

It's in the house:confused::eek:;)

When I find it I'm gonna give away a used Lansky Sharpenin' system.

In the mean time I'll use this, the 2008 Forum Knife by Northwoods.

I can see it now, "Terr, Terr, quick ya gotta stop the laundry I just lost a knife" keep in mind she just told me to take 3 grand and buy myself a motorcycle, her response would be, "use another one till it shows up, in the mean time If I run across it I'll letcha know."

I'll be patient, it'll turn up, last time this happened she found the missin' knife in the unmatched sock basket 8 months later.:)

First place I'd look. . . . . ."unmatched sock basket." :p

Hope it turns up soon T.

I know how ya feel T. I just finally got mine to where I can use it regular. The clip blade was hitting the back spring if I just let it snap close (like I usually do) And it was driving me nuts until I made a couple of adjustafacations
 1st I used a wire feed welder & added a spot to the kick. Then filed the spot down until the point was no longer proud. But the edge still would hit with a regular snap so I took a cut off disk in a dermal & ground the back spring inside where it was hitting. It was right where the back spring makes the jog from thick to slender.
She's workin great now!!

it will turn up. My swayback gent cv chestnut just fell out of my camo short pants that were in the hamper that never get washed. It was about mid April when I last saw it. I thought I had lost it for good. It popped up and it made my day. It is like a reunion, a kiss with an unsuspected hug from your wife, a funny look from the dog that puts a smile on your face. A call from your best friend from long ago, with them doing welll. Ok, sorry, but it is a good feeling, I guess the vitamins I have been takin are doing some happy things to my brain.

I get the same problem with other knives, constantly:eek:

You know what it's a sign of though don't you? Too many knives in the house:D
Thin the herd:D

Did you ever notice the relationship between a knife's value (either sentimental or monetary) and its ability to escape your pocket? A Vic Classic will ride in your pocket for years without a hiccup, but as soon as you carry someone nice it becomes a character in a prison escape movie. You can almost hear the knife planning its escape...at 3pm, I'm going over the wall.

Found it,:):):), now I just gotta find the Lansky, I think I know where it is, I haven't used it in 15 years.

Keep your eyes open for the Ted found his misplaced 2009 Forum Knife so he's gonna have a Lansky Sharpener giveaway.

Thanks for you support durin' my time of sadness. ;)

I sure hope it was in the last place you looked.

The Lansky will also be in the last place you look. Look there first.

Good thing you found it. I just imagined the BANG-BANG-BANG of the bolster smashing into the sidewall of the dryer and cringed.
