Howdy Gentlmen,
About two and a half months ago I sent a 9" damascus fighter blade with damascus guard fitted, no handle, to Maryland from Alberta. It still has not arrived at it's destination.
Because of my own stupidity, I did not send it Priority Post, and therefor can not trace it. Canada Post and U.S. Customs don't seem to be able to help. The only thing I can think of is that someone within these two agencies took it along its way.
My last resort is to post a pic of this knife, and hope someone comes across it and contacts me. As there is no handle on it, someone out there will most likely put one on, or have another knifemaker do it for them.
The blade is 9" long, about 380 layers of lazy twist pattern, 1084 adn L-6, differentally heat treated, and has my mark (CHISAN within a bowie blade, and Stathmore, Alberta Canada underneath). The S guard is low layer twist damascus.
Desperate, but what the heck.
Thanks,
Clint Chisan chisanknives@shaw.ca
