I'm not sure if this is the right area to be posting this, so mods feel free to move this if necessary.

I had a trade going on with @c.p.thompson on Instagram. I sent him a Ferrum Forge/Gavko Mako and a Cobalt Customs Jackson for his Norseman.

He posted it on 24 January 2019, and it never showed up. The package was ensured and he's contacted USPS about getting his reimbursement. He hasn't gotten the money yet, but they've said they will be paying out. I trust the guy, but I don't trust USPS.

I just wanted to put the word out here to look out for the knife, Grimsmo Norseman #1304. If anyone happens to have info on it, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Have you thought about shipping via registered mail. It's been discussed many times but I feel people think it's too costly or to much of a hassle or they just dont know.

I sent a certified letter to an address on the same island last week and it was opened while in custody of USPS. Contents extracted. Delivery in that condition was refused by recipient and the PO manager was like: not on us, we executed on our side..... no refund possible per their policy. :poop:

Certified Mail is a special USPS service that provides proof of mailing via a receipt to the sender. With electronic USPS Tracking, the sender is notified when the mailing was delivered or that a delivery attempt was made. Additional options like Return Receipt provide evidence of delivery in the form of a postcard signed by the recipient or an e-mail with an electronic copy of the recipient’s signature.

Registered

prepaid first class mail that is recorded by the post office before being sent and at each point along its route to safeguard against loss, theft, or damage.
