I am surprised how little info or pictures there are on this forum of the twenty five Sebenza 25 Prototypes that were made. At $2500.00 a piece, I understand they are unlikely to be hard-use EDC toolbox knives for anyone, but no pictures? If any forum members have one, some pictures would be appreciated. I know you gotta dig right to the back of the safe to get it out, but these knives simply need more press.

It's definitely a safe queen only to be taken out and admired. Here you are Cody, some pics of my beloved Prtotype 25

Hey thanks!!! That's completely awesome! Can you do me a favour an take a picture of the spine of the blade? I'm used to the blade-notch on the production 25's but always wondered what it looked like without the notch.

There is one for sale in my FB CRK BST page. That one has the ti plate that the slabs were cut from. It's pretty cool.

Hey thanks! I always wanted to get a good look at that spine to have some idea what manufacturing challenge the addition of the notch on the production alleviated.

I really appreciate you taking the time to post some pics. Gorgeous knife, so cool.

The other interesting thing I notice, is the graphic of the locking slab the is engraved into the knife is not the locking slab of a 25, or a 21 (note that it is missing one finger groove / choil). Weird. Maybe a pre-production slab for the 25 that was later changed? Maybe a future knife?;)

Also worth mentioning is the strange choices in fonts used throughout the design, with very rigid "SEBENZA" in Times New Roman or something, and then what looks like a rendering of a sharpie doodle for the "25", and some hand-written type font for the numbering and the "years". You wouldn't think that mash-up would look good, but it does. Very cool design.
