Missing Items and Pricing Question

Forgive me if this is frowned on. I've never asked a question pertaining to resell pricing. I have two knives listed in the exchange and I'm wondering if the price is fair. I'm not intentionally trying to promote the listing here and I'll shut this thread down if it this not allowed.

The knives are mint, but I am missing parts to the box set on each. I had planned on handing these down and had the knives were on display. The boxes were stored in a filing cabinet. I thought they were safe, but my 3 year old found the boxes and before I new it, they were cast through out the house. We were in the process of moving at the time and I have yet to find the missing parts.

At retail each is $425. So I figured around $400 after market. Then I subtracted missing parts and quality of each to set the price. One is at $380 another at $335 and I'm open to offers, but I'm wondering if the items missing are that big of deal and I'm off the mark. I know they CGG is not the most popular.

Are they priced to high in your opinion or at a fair offer? What are ya'll's thoughts on missing items from the box?

Again, let me know if this an inappropriate inquiry and thread.

Thanks

The important parts are the card and the box. The CGG you are selling may not have universal appeal(some do some don't), so that can slow down sales. Market is tough in general, and you are trying to sell on a holiday when people are busy. Also football Sundays are very slow. You can always take offers, and even if you don't ask for them, you will get them. Give it a little time see what sort of interest you are receiving and adjust price if needed or you want to move it faster.
The exchanges can be fickle. You can list an item and get no response, relist and get multiple buyers.
I'll add-people are probably pretty played out from Christmas spending ,also. Not all, but enough to limit y0ur market a little more

Aftermarket price depends a lot the desirability of the item question. Figuring $25 off retail can be a good deal...or wishful thinking. For a user, some do not care about box; for a collectible, a missing box is often a deal breaker. I've seen it posted that a missing box drops the value any knife 10-15%, automatically. If there are other items missing, and the knife would be considered a collectible, I would anticipate further reductions being necessary.
As always, how much - or how quickly - one considers lowering prices is generally relative to how badly they need the money, and/or how quickly they want a sale to take place. If you're not in rush, let them sit - you can always consider offers on an individual basis.

In my short time here I have spent a fair amount of it checking out the asking/sale prices in the exchange and have also purchased a few of them. While clearly no expert I personally think your asking prices are in line with your offerings, especially since you say there may be a little wiggle room. If I were looking to add that type of CGG (hunting, outdoors, nature, animal, etc) to my collection you would have received an offer from me via pm. GLWTS.

Thank you all for the feedback. Im not in a rush and do appreciate the insight shared as I am more of a "traditional" guy. I really just didn't want to waste my time if they were priced to high or seen as that guy trying to get way more than deserved.
