Missing my Talon

Ok, I know that I will be fodder for the Whine and Cheese Club but I need to vent.

My dad is out west Elk hunting and I loaned him my Talon to try out. He normally carries a cheap Lockback from Sharp and I wanted him to have a good knife this trip.

I am glad that I loaned him the knife and I am hoping that he gets to put it to good use but I sure miss having it on me.

Thanks Will

I just hope that the experience of using a truly high quality knife will win my dad over.

Well my Dad is back.

He got a Cow Elk and was very impressed with the Talon's Edge Holding.

He did have a scare though when the knife came out of the sheath while he was on a four wheeler. Fortunately the knife landed in a place where it was easily found.

I love my talon. The sheath is a little loose on mine as well. I am a little leary of carrying it all the time. Any idea of a solution?

SD and Dennis,
We had so deminsional variance in the early sheath/handle scale area. This has been discussed in an earlier thread. If you feel your sheath is too loose, feel free to contact 800-344-0456, and the young ladies in customer service will help you out by getting you an newer sheath. Not all the early one had problems, but some sheath/knives were a little loose, due to a SLIGHT variance int he handle scales.

Let us take care of you if you have a problem!

PS, Elk steaks are GOOD!!!
