Definiteily stick it out and finish. I ended up one class short, and not sure I'll ever go back and finish, and hate that, but jsut don't have the motivation right now.
And definitely know what you mean about kids today. Esp. as I went to a private university(went to public school before though, and were just as bad there), see all these kids whose parents bought them cars, paid their way through school, etc.
Turned 16, wanted to drive. Parents said fine, but you ahve to pay insurance, so got a job.
Wanted a car, dad said I could borrow his wwhen he didn't ened it,b ut if I wanted my own, ahd to buy it. When his died(summer after high school), and I was working full time, decided I needed my own, so bought it. Borrowed $440 of cost(640 total) from dad to buy it, paid him back within a month.
Wanted to go to college, parents said fine, and they'd help me if they could, but as my sisters are two and four years younger, and were both oging to be education majors, I knew they'd need all the help parents could give as they couldn't pay back loans. So I originally planned on taking three years off, till i found a full ride scholarship, used that till it ran out, then took loans.
Errrr, sorry, this is one of my pet peeves. Esp. as I have all these friends now who are suddenly on their own, and I hate seeing how they screw things up. Anyways, Keep at it Dave, and we're happy to see you when you ahve the time.
