Missing Screw

Got this new Cross Hatch yesterday which is an awesome knife but didn't get a good chance to play with it until today. Upon inspection I noticed it's missing the rear presentation side screw, I've had around 25 CRKs and purchased maybe 10 of them new and have never seen this before. I emailed CRK so I'm sure they will get one out to me but honestly it's kind of funny all the tight tolerances and QC, but somehow forgot a screw. I mean that in the best way because i've never had any sort of issue with my CRKs before.

Oh man, that sucks- They are pretty good about sending that type of stuff out, so I am sure you will be taken care of.

Great looking knife otherwise..What are your thoughts on it besides the missing screw? I would love to have one.

I love it, very beautifully done with the design. I would like to see the lock side done the same way too but the gray brown contrast is nice as well. Im gonna pick up its little brother here in a few weeks after I unload some other knives this weekend.

Really like the pattern. Wish they'd continue it on the other side as well as the coating on the lock side.

Just guessing here, but I think the reasons are more than the 2 that I can think of right of the top of my head.
The coating may not be good for the interface with the tang and secondly, It gives it a nice contrast as well as and indicator to the 21's roots-
That raw titanium look and feel..

Either way, thanks for the review! Let us know how the case of the missing screw turns out..

<I need one of dem crosshatches>

I have been eyeballing that one since they announced it. Seen pics but just wanna confirm: are the groves on the handle deep? Like those on the Umnumzaan?

'E was pining for the fjords...just up and left. How about a slug?

Same dates, now that's RAD! I wonder how the front side holds up snailtrail wise? Sorry to hear about the screw, now that extremely odd, but also extremely easily taken care of. Wouldn't have stopped me from getting the little brother either

Really anxious to get one of these myself...looks Great! CRK will take care of you.
