Missing the Farmer

Mailed my checked bag home from Afghanistan so I didn't need to worry about the hassle of the transfer with checked bags from Terminal 2 to Terminal 1 at Dubai's airport. Of course my Farmer are in that bag, so until it arrives I've been carrying a Victorinox Mauser. These 108mm Victorinox are really good knives. Just wish Victorinox made a leather Zermatt belt pouch for them.

Hopefully it will arrive very soon. I know I'm never out of reach of my Farmer - it's always on my belt in a horizontal leather sheath.
 
While I like the Farmer model, I think the 108mm Safari Trooper, Hunter, and Mauser are better knives because of the longer/thicker tools and a lanyard hole that goes through the knife, not some dinky split ring. For me, it's the perfect folding pocket or necker knife with all the right tools to complement a fixed EDC blade. I pair mine (worn in the crotch pocket of my flight suit or right rear pants pocket) with a Busse Active Duty or the Busse Game Warden shown in my avatar photo.
