Well, it is happening. And you asked for it. You wanted it. So appreciate every single little keyboard stroke.

The Gerbil is back posting in the Forums. I think it is quite a feat for him as he is sitting on a wobbly folding chair which is extremely uncomfortable and causes him a lot of pain.

AND......he is typing one handed-onefingered. I think Dave is doing pretty good, considering.

I am bringing him a cozy chair on wheels this Saturday. I am also going to try to find him a nice but inexpensive little computer desk, preferably one on wheels that can be easily moved from room to room. Right now VG is set up on two TV trays - one for the monitor and one in front of that one for his keyboard.

VG and I checked at Wal-Mart 2 weeks ago but they didn't have anything. I've seen a couple online that will work, but first I need to check the measurements of the closet (width) where VG has his computer set up. I tried to shut the closet door with VG inside, but it didn't work because there IS no door! It is a hall closet, I think, but the builders didn't put doors on any of the closets. Very strange. It is a nice alcove type of area and VG likes it.

But rodents like small dark areas, don't they?

I think it is so wonderful that VG is posting again. I had forgotten exactly how weird he is..... :D Well, weird in his posts. Obviously I have learned first hand how weird he is in person!!!!!!!

Phil,

That's the sort of computer setup I am looking for. I think I might need one that has an upper shelf to hold his printer, if it even works. He has a rather large HP printer. I haven't really looked at it closely because I was focusing on just getting Dave online and figured he would not be spending a lot of time printing. Plus, color cartridges, etc. are pretty expensive.

Thanks for the link. Once I measure, I can made a decision on it.

Actually mine has two shelves under the top platform.
One has my scanner on it the bottom one has my printer.

We do appreciate every key stroke and also appreciate the fact that this would have never happened with out your on the site assistance, T.J.

It's fantastic to see you posting VG!

My brother, Scotty, says weird people make life more interesting. His contention is that there is often some kind of unusual genius or intensity of personality in weirdness that makes them fascinating compared to "normal" people.
