Hello All,

I just wanted to let everyone in and around our area know that we are here and steadily growing. Our Association was founded to bring Knifemakers, Collectors, and Purveyors together to learn and benefit from each other. We have a membership base that extends to Memphis ,TN and Louisiana with some as far as Colorado! Our members range from ABS Journeyman to the everyday "user" of fine quality knives.

We have an established discussion thread that is quite active located
here and are in the process of building our website
Please stop by and visit with us for a while, I can assure you a hearty welcome from our members. (Course some of 'em are at the Guild Show right now)

I have a few copies of our first quarterly newsletter (10 page) which everyone seems very well pleased with. I would be more than happy to mail one out to anyone interested in our Association, all you need to do is just drop me a line MS Knifemakers Association

We also have plans to sponsor a Custom Knife Show in Jackson, MS around Spring of next year at which members will have access to entrance and purchase of tables if desired.

I also send out a monthly Email newsletter to update all the news of the Association, and have plans for something "major" in the next couple of months.

If anyone is interested, check out our site and forum or let me know via email. We have a great bunch of members and have room for many more.

"An Association is only as good as its Members"

That means we have a great Association! Every Maker or Collector that decides they want to join is adding to an Association that is here to help anyone involved in the knife Industry.

Yes Jason, This line from "Planet of the Apes" came up in conversation with a friend the other night, and I thought I'd use it awhile. Don't worry, I'll keep my "cats" one around, it will return at some point.Let me guess, You are offended because you have a pet Ape, and want to tell me how wrong I am for this sig line....right??:D;)

How can we be sure this isn't another Microsoft trick? Like we go to the chat/discussion board and it seizes control of our PCs?

Because we are not Microsoft, and I really don't want control of someone elses PC. I have enough problems with my own :D :D

I only have a few copies left to mail out! For those that requested one I do hope you enjoy it :D
