Does this include folding pocket knives? Anyone know?

The following is an e-mail that I recieved from Captain Judy Tucker of the Mississippi state police concerning the carry of folding knives in that state. She is the Point of Contact for weapons related questions according to the DPS website.

Thanks for your help Judy! I appreciate it.

Sincerely,

Ed Garrett

There again as long as it is not one of the restricted knives, you are okay
in carrying a pocket knife.

Edgar,

As long as the knife is not a bowie knife, dirk knife, butcher knife or
switchblade knife, you are allowed to carry it and it not be considered a
concealed weapon. A regular pocketknife is fine when travelling by car.

Captain Tucker, I am contemplating a trip to Mississippi this summer and
intend to avoid any possibility of legal difficulties. How does the above
relate to the carrying of folding pocket knives? Can I carry one?
