Highlights: waterfall, Sierra canyon, meadows, rainforest like atmosphere, rushing cascades
Distance: 8.5 miles round trip (we took a detour that added a half mile, well worth it.)
Elevation Gain: 1000 ft
Hike Time: 4 hours
Difficulty: Moderate
HikeType: Out and Back

Hey guys, long time no see. I just wanted to share this hike, my brother and I did last month. Kings Canyon and Sequoia are close to Yosemite and is really under rated.

Here's a pic of my brother and me.

Great photos! I love it up there, I used to spend weeks in the Giant Forest.

Good trip. I agree, Kings Canyon/Sequoia is vastly underrated. Everyone talks about Yosemite, but, having been all over both parks, I like SEKI much more. Of course, in SEKI you have to walk to get to the really good places.
