Does anyone know which FBM has the most mass or weight ? Given that the FBM LE is .32 inches but is a flat ground blade and the FFBM is a sabre ground blade at approximately .29 inches. For sake of argument assuming these two dimensions would the FFBM tip the scale ?

I never weighed them but I think the FFBM is heavier. I've had both.

The FBM LE was light in hand and balanced very well. The FFBM was blade heavy.

I think FBM LE is 0.312 thick (flat ground blade), FFBM is 0.32 (sabre ground)... So FFBM is Your winner between those two. Or maybe You can find a really thick NMFBM LE which will tip the scale... ;)

FBMLE is .320 and the FFBM is .312.... I have a couple of each:D

Yes. I am sure. Actually my FBMLE's are .325 on the digital calipers and my FFBM's are .310( but feel heavier.)

It's good to know. I had a sage FFBM with olive camo g10, she was exactly 0.32 thick. I was sure FBM LE is thinner than FAT Fusion Battle Mistress. Seems like I was wrong for a long time... But so are both sites...
BTW - are all of Your FBM LE's 0.325?

peppercorn - looks like FFBM is gonna be heavier regardless of the thickness variation. Sorry for hijacking Your thread :o

I would think the Fat Fusion BM would posses more mass due to the saber grind. If the Fat Flat FBM and the FBM LE are close in stock width the fact that they are full height ground would produce less cross sectional area
