Today has been pretty good so far....2 boxes arrived both holding my favorite blades:D

After a little handle darkening the Fatty looks great! The SHBM isn't a skinny either She weighs in at .275 stripped and the Fatty is .310 coated.

What are some of the things that Skunk throws into the boxes with the knives?

Hey! Where's the stump? You have to keep taking pics out in the front yard to maintain your image with the neighbors. :D

Good Heavens, son!

Never...ever...use the word 'old' in conjunction with any Mistress!

[Nice pics, though!]

Nice ones Jason  :D a BM man  You have excellent taste. I think we're both on Cobalt's radar now :p

I hope you didn't hurt that rock by setting the mistress edge down on it... oh, the humanity! :D

Nice pics!

Congrats on the new mistress!

OH Yeah!!!
The Fat Mags is my favorite Busse so far!
(That I have actually held...:) )

How does it compare with a Proto?

Actually that is the Standard handle....after my first SHBM...no more mags for me. Standards are a beautiful thing!

I have to conduct some "Scientific" test, but right off the bat I would still say the Proto is better overall....much more balanced and still a devastating chopper. The edge is MUCH thinner on the Proto and that really helps it out.

The fatty is barely an ounce heavier than my lightest Proto...I have to weigh the heavier ones and see how it compares.

Sweet Jason! That backpack of yours is getting heavier all the time!!!

So you're saying you think the fatty is pretty close to being as good a chopper as the proto -- but more forward balanced?
