Mitch Lum's BAKCA review

BAKCA looked like a show, with some good makers, and a little USN lovefest thrown in for "specialness". :barf:

I really want to go to this show, but "THEM" having a table there would put a bad taste in my mouth.

Life is too damned short.

Too bad you were not there.You missed, what a lot of people said, a good show. I too think it was a good show.

Steven, just go to the show and talk to those that you want to talk to. It's easy enough to stay away from the USN people if they bother you that much.

I had a blast.

The hotel was perfect, and as always the BAKCA crew are very hospitable.

I really enjoyed looking at all the forged blades, those guys ALL do incredible work.

Congratulations on putting on a good show, Randy. I'll have to try and get there next year. I know everyone I saw post had a great time and I've heard that from others as well. I want to thank you for what you did for the USN.

You folks are lucky to have a class show like this in your area.

Randy, Doug and the club did a great job. I think it was another great show.

The new venue is nicer, the room was bigger so there was room for more knifemakers. One of the highlights of the show was Randy's collection. I spent more time at his table than anywhere except our own table. It was very interesting to see different bowies styles side by side. By the end of the show I knew who I wanted to make my bowies.

The BAKCA club does a fantastic job! I highly recommend this show. We will be back again next year.

Luana, and I were there, and think everyone did a great job on making this a fantastic show.
Thanks Randy, and Doug(Issaac) on running the show, and to Mitch for all the great pictures.
Like the layout of the new place for the show, and more room for knifemakers.
All the knifemakers were very nice to talk to, and brought some georgous knives, and we ended up bringing 5 knives home form the show, and even then it was tough decisions as there were more I wanted to buy but funds were limited.

Job well done!!!!!!!!!!

Am too that irresistable, you were just sleep deprived, and had sleep goggles on! :D

Randy Morgan is a Prince among men, and deserves LARGE kudos for pulling off a great show. Gets my "Most Improved Show" award.
