Just got a copy of Tactical Knives and was flipping through it... when lo and behold, as the mag falls open to the Tactical CUSTOM pages... my jaw drops as there's a picture of my Todd Begg Sambar SS Recurve Fighter!... Wait... there's my Begg Camp Knife right next to it... Both pics by our very own Mitch Lum!!! :eek: But wait... I see my Tom Ferry Ball'n'Chain on the opposite page!!! Mitch gets three pics on one spread... with three of my knives!!!

I was gone for a day or two... I ran over to the safe and had to reassure myself they were still there!!! OMG!!!... The honor is actually mine though - I'm simply honored to be temporarily holding these beautiful pieces by such talented artists... and to have had them photographed by an up and coming photographer and printer... and a ton of other hats, too! LOL!!

Congrats to Todd and Tom for their work and to Mitch for his talented eyes!! :D
 
I'm sorry that I don't have the copy in my hands, but I applaud Mitch for getting inclusion in publications! He has worked hard for years at this and his photos are clear and distinctly him..!

Coop... I just got lucky - Tanya Begg suggested that I hook up with Mitch to get Todd's work photographed for Todd's references... So, I had him also take one of Tom's since I had just picked it up... Spoke with Mitch and now you guys get to see it!

But I didn't know they'd be posted in a magazine, too!! :eek:

Wow Joe, I found out about this thread from Nick! Hey, what month's issue of TK is that? Last time I looked through it I didn't see any pics. That's cool your knives made it in!

the most recent issue in the Tactical "Custom" spread is where your pics are Mitch... It was just kind of a shock to open the mag and have it fall open to that page - and realize there's my knife!!! LOL!!!! :eek:

Mitch... it tells me they are too big! And being a technophobe... isn't that the gospel!?!? LOL!!!
If there are easier tricks to posting bigger pics... let me know! LOL!!!!
