Mixed emotions!

I was all excited when I got home last night and my new Military had arrived! I quickly opened the box, took out the knife and played with it a bit. I had to a Post Office run and put it in my pocket. On the way out the front door I just had to handle it again. Being new, the clip was tight and I lost my grip just as it came loose from my pocket. It hit pivot side down on the concrete sidewalk! It's now got a noticable ding on one of the handle slabs right where it touches the blade in the open position. The horror! It doesn't seem to have affected the lockup but due to its position I can see possible future problems. Anybody have any handle problems with this model either from extensive use or abuse?

I understand how upset you are. If it is just a ding in the G10 just think of it as already broken in. If you bought it to carry and use then you won't feel so bad the next time you get a scratch on it. Or I'm sure you could have somebody (Spyderco people or others) work on it for you. If it affects the performance, that's a whole other story.
