Mixed fonts on a Camillus tang stamp?

Found something a little odd on the Sword cattle knife I recently picked up. The spey blade has what looks like the regular 4 line stamp with the serif font but on closer inspection one of the lines is done in sans-serif.

The stamps on the other blades (crossed swords on the main, 4 line on the pen) are as one would expect. I've found different stamps on different blades in the same knife but not a difference within a single stamp. Anyone else seen something like it?

From Goin's:

"c 1919-1941 Marked on all blades. (four line marking "Sword Brand" may be etched out on the blade."

"c1941-1946 Marked on one blade only. (four line marking) "Sword Brand" may be stamped on the front of the tang, with the four line marking on the back of the tang."

The three examples I have do not reflect a change in font on line three as yours does.

Thanks for the Goins info Brad.

I have referenced the page you linked ed along with others at various forums but nothing I've read to this point has ever made mention of something like what my knife displays.

Well, as BRL is wont to say, "Study the markings. Ignore what the markings happen to say."

The markings look wrong.
