A glimpse of cutlery diversity around my, one-man, office today for your amusement.

From top to bottom:

Geo. Schrade, Wire Jack, part of a girl scout trio from WWII (spoon, folding fork and knife, all three came in a small leather belt sheath)
Kershaw Skyline, fun flipper
Ceramic folder, sterile (no ID at all showing on the knife)
Stiletto, sterile (blade reads Italy and Inox only)
Spyderco Endura, excellent user
ZT 561, my EDC (along with Buck 424 from Canadian Tire)
Buck 186, take apart titanium project of formerly covert Mickey Finn
Buck 124, brilliant bowie from our friends in Post Falls, Idaho

Just now received the unbelievably cool, 1.29 ounces and just under 8.5 inches OA open, ceramic folder from Chris in Jakarta (thank you kindly Chris) that cams open and has a working self close, great colors, adjustable modern pivot and sterile ID. It is sharp as a tack. Everyone should have one of these.

Are you saying that those are the knives of all your co-workers (and yourself)? Or are those the knives that YOU keep around the office?

If those are your co-workers knives, then I think it's a very cool idea to take such a pic. It's also very cool that your co-workers would participate and give you their knives for a minute. What kind of "office" environment/business is it? The reason I ask is that it relates to the type of knives your co-workers might need and will say something about them based on their choice.

I've been on this forum for over ten years and I've never seen a collection of random co-worker knives being shown here. I think it's a really cool idea, even if some of the knives collected might be cheap junk. Perhaps this will start a new trend and we will see collections of knives from construction workers, EMT's, warehouse workers, etc, etc. I know that I would be interested in seeing such collections.

In regards to your pic, I'm especially curious about the persons carrying the switchblade and the Buck fixed-blade, and what they use them for. Definitely my kind of people ;).

Again, very cool idea Oregon (if they're your co-workers knives that is).

Good thread idea killgar.

The pic is of some of my gear collected for this photo from around my office where I always work alone. Thank you for posting.

Ahh, I see. Clearly I misinterpreted. Nice collection though. Looks like your quite prepared for any cutting tasks at work :).

Nice office collection. Lots of options of what to play with but I too misinterpreted. I was hoping it was the knives of everyone around that office that would have been cool
