Mk VI

I did it...I've been dreaming about a Chris reeve Knife for long time...I ordered a Shadow IV today at knifeart.com...unfortunately they didn't had it in stock!!! Aw aw...But they had a MK VI in stock! So I ordered it!
Any coments on this knife? I've only seen few pics of it!

I have one and I love it! IMO this is the most versatile knife in the 5.5" blade range. I have had it for about 6 years now and it is my preferred knife for hiking. I carry a few items in the hollow handle; mostly meds, Band-Aids, and a $50 bill. It is truly a tough knife. I have used it to split wood, make fuzz sticks, and really beat the **** out of it before I sent it back to CRK for a recoating and sharpening. I had them recoat it with the OD Green Kalgard and it looks really nice. You defintely made a good choice.

I think you will be amazed at how precisely it is made. All the Chris Reeve one piece knives Ive seen were absolutely perfect. And you wont break it unless you do something really crazy. The Shadow IV is a little small, but the MK VI is just the right size.

Yeah, breaking a CR one piece is very unlikely to happen.

Wow, I don't think I have ever heard of a broken one-piece.
A2 is a very tough steel. I had a Mk VI for a while, a very good knife. The 5.5 inch blade is about perfect for me. I replaced mine with a GB 5.5 though.

Really? Seems kinda unlikely. I think even Cliff Stamp would have work pretty hard to break one of the CRK One Piece models. Do you have a link?

I GOT IT!!!!!!!!
My Mk VI arrived today

Ok guys...now I know what Chris Reeve quality mean...This knife is sooooooooo nice!!!
the balance is perfect! It's not too big not too small, GREAT!!!
I already filled the hollow handle with some stormproof matches, fishing lines and hooks and some water tablets!
