Hi everyone I am new here. I came across a company with a fixed blade called the War Goat is what it is called. I bought two black ones because I thought it would be a good gift but I am finding carrying on my belt to be a hassle over pocket clip. Either way does anyone know if this company is reputable. They sell out fast when they drop but that doesn't mean they are great quality. Seems light and sturdy. Anyone have thoughts. Thanks

I have owned one for several months. My take on this particular knife is that it ain't all that. For an edc knife you know where you use it to open mail, packages etc. it's alright I suppose but to me that's about it. I don't care for that particular style of pocket carry and removed the clip and when and if I do carry it I put all the way down into my pocket. The ring on the rear of the handle isn't intuitive for my baby finger to reach through it on drawing the knife and the sheath is secure enough in that I have to remove the sheath to re-holster the knife itself. It's not much of a hunting knife imho either. Never had a semi trailing point knife that was anywhere near as good at removing the internal organs of a varmint without puncturing the paunch or innards on an animal, although I haven't used the knife in this way but experience tells me this just might be so. Last but not least the handle grip is just way to small to be comfortable and for me safe to use do to arthritis and carpal tunnel syndrome in both hands which is quite severe. To me it's more of a status thing that I own one frankly. My take on it and my take only, just sayin. stay safe
