Mkii

Here is my MKII, it came from IMA (I'm glad I ordered when I did, since apparently they're sold out?). It weighs 27.5 Oz. I don't have proper measurements but from what I can gather it seems to be pretty average for a MKII. The Unique features that I have noticed are the lack of any marking other than the Broad Arrow, the bolster appears to be brazed and drab paint on the metal parts of the handle (which I was told was "Desert Camo Paint"). I tried to capture what I think are the important details with the camera, if I need other pics just tell me what to shoot and I'll try.

I thought IMA sold out of MKII at the end of 2011 . Did you just order this one?
Anyway 770 grams is on the heavy side for MKIIs but yours is in good shape considering it's age. Nice buy.

I bought an IMA MKII too and it also had paint on it's butt but the paint is yellow (see below).

I got it I think around january of this year, AFAIK they are sold out now, and have been for at least a few months, I was gonna order a second one but they were all gone.
Yeah your paint looks around the same color as mine, but your pins(?) look much more pronounced, mine are pretty flush.

Uncouth, your Mk. II is very similar to several others I've seen, including mine (below). They are usually marked "M.I.". Some have a date, mine just has "II" beneath the MI. They all share the same lines. SCR is right, 27.5 oz. is a little heavy, but not unheard of. It's a very nice specimen. I've picked up a few Mk. IIs, including one from IMA before they were gone. Anyway, here's my M.I. II marked version. Take care.
