That looks more like a 5.5" Limited Edition Aviator. When and where did you get it?

Actually I wouldn't mind owning it but if the number behind the logo is any indication you actually have a South African version rather than the current commercial version. The knurled rather than the hexagonal shape butt cap is not consistent with the SA knives but you have a nice knife there regardless.

The knife dates from '87 and was purchased in the UK. I replaced the Hexgonal cap with a round one last year and also got a new sheath. The knife is effectively an aviator with a 7" blade and is South African.

Very nice blades. The more I look at them, the more I like them.

I really must get hold of at least one of them. Or, better still, both!
