On that smooth criminal, how is the flipping action? I have heard it's very picky and must be done light switch style. Also does the lanyard hole on the spine get in the way of your grip?

Correct, it’s exactly like that. Needs either a good flick or a little wrist. I still like it, it’s a good size with a nice blade.

Got the 187f today, it’s tight. Little bit of lock stick, hope it clears up after break in.
