Hi everyone.

I'd like to share some pics of my new N690 stainless steel Amazon knife, this is undoubtedly one of the best stainless steels, slightly hard to finish but very good biting edge.
Soon I'll put some N690 knives for sale here in the forum.

Specifications:
Amazon - N690 stainless steel, hand rubbed finish, black G10 scales, black/red liners, stainless steel pins, brown leather sheath, you can use this sheath vertically or horizontally on your belt.

(230mm) 9.05" OAL.
(117mm) 4.60" from handle to tip.
(4,5mm) 0,17" thick.

If you have any questions about my knives feel free to contact me.

That is a very nice clean knife. Like the looks of that stainless.
I do a similar profile and sheath but have been using 1095 and doing a forced patina. I posted a few pics in the gallery... Would be nice to offer something in stainless though. How is edge holding/hardness/ductility, etc?

Hi LucyCustomKnives, in my opinion is a steel very similar to D2 (edge retention, hardness, toughness), is a bit difficult to work, hard hand finalizing, this steel looks like it has oil, the sandpaper slide and does nothing.

Can I ask why the false edge on the back? I am not sure what the knife gains from that - but I wanted to ask - because I have never been to the Amazon.

Also, why not drop in stainless tubes in the rear of the knife?

Not criticisms - just questions.

The blade is incredibly clean and the edge and reliefs look very well done. I bet it is a heck of a slicer.

Hi Talfuchre, my goal is to make a sharp tip, this is a Amazon hybrid, half hunter half tactical, I intend to do a versatile knife which can be used for hunting, bushcraft or as a tactical knife, not pretend to be radical but a flexile style.
About the lanyard tube, I always like to do different from knife to knife so the G10 handle is strong enough, does not need lanyard tube I thought it would be cute and different from other Amazons, no special reason.

Thank you for the comment

Thanks. I will have to look into that as a good stainless option. Do I see a light recurve in that edge or do my eyes deceive me? (Looking at it on my phone...) If so, I like it. If not, still like it... lol.
