MMHW Black finish: Would bead blasting make it satin?

I am not sure if anyone here has ever tried bead blasting a Mineral Mountain Hatchet Works big blade knife.
I like the stout look to them but I really like shiny objects so I was wondering if blasting would work well, or would just end up with a mess with the blade showing grinds marks/other cosmetic imperfections.

Thanks for any thoughts on this.

You do understand that bead blasting will remove the black finish?

Yes I do. What I would like is to have the coating removed. Not concerned about rust. What I don't want though is a truly ugly blade which shows grind marks and other cosmetic imperfections that the black coating may have covered up. I would like a bright satin finish.

You could coat the blade with wipe on shellac. Super easy to touch up WHEN it gets worn off.
Just give it a quick wipe, wipe and it would be shiny again.
The finish is alcohol based so it dries fast.
If you hate the finish you can easily remove it by soaking in a pan of denatured alc.

And for the final knife guy coolness . . . these knives that I like so much come from the maker coated with the shellac to keep them from rusting in shipping and to make them look good in the store window. I remove the finish once I get it because I like the patina.

To be totally factual the finish from them may be lacquer. I use lacquer thinner to remove it so I'm not sure.

That is another option : you could use lacquer to coat your knife but the thinner is NOT a good thing to breath indoors and can even cause fire balls to ignite in the air of the room if you have an ignition source (light switch). Fun to watch but your significant other may frown on the smell and the frequent and sudden light shows.
