Its been a few years since I had any of this stuff. Almost forgot how good it was. Some of the best $20/bottle bourbon I've had in a while.

Just thought I'd share....

I agree  It's one of my regulars. Usually on sale once or twice a month here too for around $18 a bottle :)

Black was one of my staples in the 70's. For a change of pace try the Jim Beam Rye whisky.

Anyone try Yukon Jack?? I've seen this before and always thought it was a straight bourbon - but a friend tells me its not. Word has it that the stuff is smooth as all get out... and cheap.

Comments on that?

Jim Beam Black is good stuff. I won't touch the white at least not neat:p . Followed a friend on a commissary run picked up a 1.75 liter of Jim Beam Black for $18.00 a few months ago.

Right now I'm hooked on the W.L. Weller line, Wild Turkey line, and any good cheap single barrel. Evan Williams and Elmer T. Lee single barrels are good and ~$20.

My two faves:
Wild Turkey Rare Breed
Basil Hayden's

An honorable mention: Woodford's
