What's your favorite recipe?
Is it one you cook or one someone else cooks?
What beverage goes with it best?

I'm looking for more recipes and the thread contest seemed like the best way to actually have some responses. The forum comes alive during a contest.

Gimme some ideas people.

How is this a contest. We need a prize. Without a prize, there is no way that I'm going to tell you about the receipe that I have for the best damn... Oh man, you almost got me to say it.

Of course, it goes well with beer. I'll give you that much. :D

Ya know, the contest Jerry's running. You didn't even answer the question. Leave it to a dirty rat to mess up the instructions. If the prize was cheese you'd have given me a good suggestion for food.
Dirty rat. :p :D

Rat bastids!

Hey Mike try this one.

10# of your favorite ground meat or you can use chunk stew meat.
2 cans of Rotel tomatoes w/ chiles (substitue the next two cans with more if you like the heat)
2 cans of plain diced tomatoes
2 cans of hominy
2 cans of corn
2 cans of red kidney beans (You can add other kinds of beans if you like I usually try to get two varieties for mine.)
1 packet or dry ranch dressing mix
1 packet of dry taco mix
1 large chopped onion.

Brown off the meat and the onion in a stew pot. Toss in the entire contents of all the canned veggies etc and dry mixes into the pot and let the whole thing simmer for at least an hour. You might want to transfer the whole thing into a crock pot and let it sit. I do this sometimes late on Saturday night when I get home from work. I leave it to cook overnight in the crock pot set on the lowest setting. Makes for a good lunch and dinner for Sunday, especially if you are having folks over for foorball. Serve it with some tortilla chips and cold beer. Maybe some sour cream or shredded cheese for those so inclined.
