A box of Ka-Bar steel just showed up at my door. I can already tell that the Kukri is going to be an insane chopper.
These three are going with me on my next camping trip as test subjects. Big, medium, and small.

Oh, and the friendly folks at Ka-Bar tossed in a few BK-14 specials. Be on the lookout for some flash giveaways, contests, and the like.

The kukri is indeed awesome. After I stripped it and convexed the edge on my WorkSharp, it slices and chops like a beast. Not that it didn't before, but I was amazed at how easily it went through 1"+ branches with one easy swing.

Look at all you with your fancy KA-BAR neckers! and your other KA-BAR GOODNESS!

That sucker (necker) looks really nice, make sure you let us know how it does...

Those KA-BAR machetes, Grass, Kukri, and Cutlass look like a lot of performance for price... "bang for your buck" if you will....

(kind of a recurring theme with KA-BARs EH? :D )

Nice stuff, Guyon!

I was very lucky and happy to find this beauty at my door when I arrived home from work

Just stumbled across the 1117, like it, like it a lot. i always look for a neck knife, but it never seems to work out. Too big, too small, not functional, poor sheath. This thing looks to be the cats nuts. Made in the USA and priced right to boot.

How is everybody liking them?

Man, kicking myself for not pulling the trigger on the 1117 when I placed an order a couple weeks ago. I concur. "I like it a lot."
