Okay, I have a few sheath prototypes (first of their kind that I tried making) for Sebenzas and Mnandi to show off and just maybe sell or trade:

1. Stingray Pocket Pouch - US$40 SOLD

This one is for a Mnandi, and will work with pocket clip on or off. I made this one just so that I could toss it in my pocket and not worry about the change and keys scratching the Mnandi scales. The pouch is nice stingray skin, lined on the inside with vegetable tanned pigskin dyed dark-red. So it's nice and soft and non-corrosive on the inside, and hard and grippy on the outside.

2. Small Sebenza Pouch - US$25

This is another pocket pouch, this time for a small Sebenza. Also lined with veg-tan pigskin, but this one is made from crocodile print lamb. Nice, soft, flexible and flat for pocket carry or to toss in your bag without worrying about scratching the knife.

3. Large Classic Sebbie Sheath - US$55

This is one of my usual vertical belt sheaths, but this time overlayed with a python print lamb on the outside. The pocket clip on the knife had to be removed for this one though, or the look would have been spoiled.

Shipping is usually US$5, but expedited and express options are also available. PayPal, MO, etc.

I can vouch for his superior sheath making capabilities :)

He had made me a custom MoonSong Large Sebenza leather sheath for my knife & it is outstanding in everyway. Holds the knife tight, but not too tight & has never fallen out. Has a soft interior so it won't damage the graphics on the face of the knife. Way better than the sheaths from Chris Reeve & Vess' have style. Just tell him what you would like & he will do his best to comply.
Very quick shipping from Canada & excellent packaging.

Well, I was planning on posting my pictures of it, but as usual, there too big :grumpy:

You can see a version of it on his website....It is very similar to the MoonSong V3 on his site which was mine before I had him add some stars to it to finish it off. It really turned out spectacular. I get alot of people asking me where I got it from & they all love it as well. You won't be unhappy at all!

ENJOY!

Danbo > Ooooh, no! :D

Just the sheaths, not the knives. I'm keeping the Mnandi, it was pretty hard to get one up here through the Canadian customs. Need it to go on making sheaths for these... :)

Sixfeetdeep > Thank you for the recommendation and the feedback! :) That was a pretty fun project to make. Especially making the stamp for the small stars from a regular nail, I never thought it was possible... :)

I still have pictures of your sheath up here:

My original post was a not so subliminal reminder that you probably posted this in the wrong area. This is the Production KNIVES for sale area.

Ah, I see... :)

Well, in my first sheaths for sale post (Three Military Sheaths) I started the post with a question to moderators asking if that was the right forum for such a post, and they didn't move it yet, so I guess it is more or less correct. I thought about Gadgets and Gear forum, but that one is for "non-knife related" material, and a sheath shaped to fit only a specific knife might not fit there either.

But you are correct, the sheaths don't entirely belong in either section. I will email one of the moderators of this section and ask them to please move my posts to the section to suits them best. If it is Gadgets and Gear, then from now on it'll be Gadgets and Gear. Thanks for pointing it out.

Oh, by the way, those are some very very sweet looking sheaths.

Vess, I have tried to show the sheath off to as many people as I can to get more biz headed your way.
I have had this sheath on my side since I received it & so far there is absolutely no wear on it at all. Even when trying to squeeze through tight areas & the sheath rubs against things, it still shows no signs of wear anywhere. So far so good!

The "stars" that you made out of a nail is impressive to say the least. I am kinda glad I asked you to do something with them & boy did you deliver!
THANK YOU AGAIN!

Once I figure out if there will be any more knives in my future, I will certainly call for your services again.

Thank You! :)

I think leather holds up to use pretty well. I mean if you hit it with something sharp hard enough it will get scratched, but that's the same for practically everything. Kydex is a nice sheath material too, much more durable, but at least in my experience it damages the knife too much. It just grinds through bead blasted finishes.

So enjoy the sheath... :) I'll be listing some new stuff here soon too. Almost done with one new sheath with exotic toad skin inlayed into the large classic Sebenza sheath, so far looks good... :)
