Just got one and I love it.. But I was curious, having a pouch and clip, what are the CRK families preference in carrying their Mnandi's?

I carry mine in a small leather pocket sheath from AG Russell. I removed the pocket clip, as I do w/all my knives.

I remove my pocket clips as well and carry my Mnandi in a leather pocket case made by Arne Mason, (a search should find him).
I remove the clips so I can fully enjoy the beauty of both inlays and Arne's pocket case just adds to the complete package.

Arne makes a wonderful case, the Ultrasuede is a nice touch. Which size fit best?

I often carry a Mnandi using the clip and it's either clipped in the pen pocket of a suit jacket or carried like any other folder in my trouser pocket. :)

For me, carrying loose in a pants or jeans pocket is asking for coins or other junk to damage the scales or edge. That's my reasoning, right or wrong. I prefer a clip on my Mnandi, the clip keeps it out of the bottom of my pocket. I think that it also supports the knife in such a way that it feels lighter.

I carry mine in a sheath that I purchased from Paul Long ("sheathmaker"). I do not remove the clip.

Ooh gotcha. I thought you meant you don't clip it to your pocket.. I agree though, I never have any knife in a pocket with anything else. It mostly goes on my left rear pocket by itself..

My explanation wasn't very clear. It's nice to have several carry options available.
