Mnandi changes

I am curious if there have been changes, over the years, in the Mnandi (other than inlays offered)? Is this years Mnandi the same as the one made several years ago? If I buy a NIB from 3-5 years ago, is it physically the same as one made this year? Thanks in advance!

I know that the blade steel changed from BG42 to S30V, but that is the only change I know of.

The Mnandi started off with S30V, IIRC.

I am fairly new to the CRK scene, but I do have a Curly Maple Mnandi from November of 2001 that has a BG42 blade. (at least thats what the papers say).

oh, do I ever have an itch for a nice Mnandi with ivory... I waver between a nice blue bark mammoth and a nice clean white ivory! what's your favorite??
